Minimum Wage Rates
Effective December 31, 2023, the following minimum wage will be in effect in New York State:
Workers in NYC employed by large business (11+ employees): $16.00
Workers in NYC employed by small business (<10 employees): $16.00
Workers in Long Island and Westchester Counties: $16.00
Workers in all other areas of the state: $15.00

The minimum salary required in New York State for the executive and administrative exemptions will remain as follows:
Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties: $1,125 per week
Remainder of NYS (except NYC): $1,064.25 per week
