NY Pay Transparency Law Effective 9/17/23

Pay Transparency Law Now in Effect in NY:

Effective 9/17/2023, NY state requires employers with four (4) or more employees to list compensation ranges for all advertised job, promotion, or transfer opportunities. These ranges consist of the minimum and maximum annual salary and/or hourly compensation at the time of posting. Under this law, employers are prohibited from retaliating against employees who discuss their compensation with coworkers.
